Because the bird feeder is for small birds only, my collared dove feeds on the windowsill. Here it reaching for one more seed.
I love its amber eyes. Its own shadow is reflected in it. Today my studio window.

Fieldfare (Turdus pilaris) sat with a group of other birds on my oak. These very sociable birds move in large groups, make lovely sounds – hence their name „Kwiczoł” and in winter they love to eat frozen apples.

An interesting fact about these birds is that hey stay togethe for whole life. If the female does not find the male, she joins the couple with the other female. Couple days ago. View from my studio window, Krakow, Poland.

Stara para sierpówek (Streptopelia decaocto). Ciekawym faktem jest to, że ptaki łączą się w pary na całe życie. Jeśli samica nie znajduje partnera samca tworzy parę z inną samicą. Kilka dni temu, widok z okna mojej pracowni. Kraków.
